Who We Are

San Diego for Every Child is a coalition of passionate
people and organizations working to end the experience
of child poverty in San Diego County.

In fall 2018, we recognized a need to change the way San Diego addresses child poverty.

A diverse group of San Diego leaders were consulted about how to best make an impact.
From there, the vision was cast: a San Diego County where we can say with pride that every child under the age of 12 has their most basic needs met.

San Diego for Every Child leadership sets the strategic direction for the coalition,
chaired by Dana Toppel, Chief Operating Office of Jewish Family Service of San Diego. Jewish Family Service of San Diego acts as the coalition’s coordinating agency and fiscal sponsor.
