The County of San Diego wants to hear from you to better understand the impact COVID-19 has had on your operations and ability to serve families throughout San Diego County.

Please help spread the word to get as many responses as possible from child care providers. The closing date of this survey is July 27th.

We appreciate your time in advance, and also all that you do to serve our region’s children.

HELP WITH CHILD CARE

Essential Workers and At-risk Populations Seeking Financial Assistance for Child Care

We are supporting essential workers and at-risk populations with financial assistance for child care services through September 30, 2020. Funding is provided by the City and County of San Diego and limited.

Financial assistance for child care is available for children, ages 0-12, and youth, ages 13-21, currently on an Individualized Education Plan. Parents must confirm child care services are needed.

Family eligibility and priority information

1 – At-risk populations including children at risk of abuse, neglect, or exploitation; children eligible through Emergency Child Care Bridge Program for Foster Children; families experiencing homelessness, or children of domestic violence survivors.

2 – Essential workers whose total family income does not exceed the current income eligibility threshold and are not able to work remotely. Both parents must be essential workers to qualify.

3 – Families with children with disabilities or special health care needs whose IEPs and IFSPs include ELC services.
